To increase the availability of fruit, forest, and ornamental tree seedlings and saplings in the local area to enhance forest coverage on private land and manage biodiversity.

Brief Description

ASPADA mobilized target communities regarding forest importance and biodiversity. Technical day-to-day support was provided to set up nurseries along with linkages to input sellers and marketing support for sapling distribution.

Outputs

38 nurseries were successfully established and continue to operate commercially in the region.

The goal of the project is to ensure good health, nutrition, and education through awareness building of the target community.

Brief Description

The project has been specially designed and implemented to expand household resources and human capabilities for integrated household-based development. The health component delivers door-to-door primary health care services, static clinics, satellite clinics, and referral services. The nutrition component ensures advisory services and awareness. Additionally, 28 tutorial centers were established to protect against school dropouts.

The main objective of the project is livelihood improvement for climate victim people through RDA-developed water management technology.

Brief Description

Provides training to beneficiaries to enhance their skills and socio-economic level. Through deep tube-well installations, vast crop lands were brought under irrigation for round-the-year cultivation. It also encouraged farmers to establish biogas plants, improved stoves, and livestock farming using environment-friendly technology developed by RDA.

The objective of the project is to eradicate hazardous child labor from the targeted area by providing them non-formal education and skill-building training to ensure decent work for all.

Brief Description

Conducted a baseline survey in Mymensingh City Corporation area across 38 hazardous sectors. Selected 892 working children and established 36 schools providing 6-month non-formal fundamental education. Subsequently rearranged learners across 45 skill building centers for training in tailoring, beautification, block-boutique printing, mechanics, woodwork, etc., coupled with safe employment support.

Outputs

Provided skill building training and non-formal education (NFE) to 892 learners (aged 10-18 yrs). Maintained 36 NFE schools and 45 skill building training schools, while facilitating job placement and entrepreneurship development.
