Safe Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene for Human Capital Development
Project Overview
The Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) is implementing the Bangladesh Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Human Capital Development Project. This initiative is jointly funded by PKSF, the World Bank, and the Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank (AIIB) for the period 2021–2025.
With a credit of USD 400 million from the International Development Association (IDA), ASPADA Foundation, as a Partner Organization, is facilitating the installation of 1,000,000 safely managed toilets and 120,000 water supply facilities at the household level. This project is a major step toward achieving SDG-6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) in Bangladesh.
